The men got a great fright and they had to go home without the treasure. It is said to be guarded by fairies and long ago the people could hear fairies playing music and dancing in the cave
- There is supposed to be gold hidden some place in Pat Cooney's land, Carrickacromin, Laragh parish, Co. Cavan.
