    Next Sunday the parish priest came to Clifferna Chapel to preach a sermon on the weeks events. He was very angry and decided to make the people who drank it to pay twice the value of the porter.
    When Mr Charles Lynch heard about it he was annoyed about it as it was not paid for it so the two men who brought it as far as Bradys had to make a collection to pay for it. It cost one pound ten shillings.
