  1. THE SIDHEON BUSH
Some centuries ago there lived at Ballinacargy Drung Lords and Princesses named O'Reilly. Some of them were banished to foreign countries. After some time one of the ladies was coming back to visit her own native home. She made her journey across the country and when she came as far as Drumran she got weak and died there and was buried at a large whitethorn bush known to this day as the Sidheon bush.
Often someone is heard crying around it at night and very sad music is also heard. Probably some one is lamenting for the beautiful Princess that did not return
