    There is another hill outside the village called Scutchers Row. It got its name because there was a Scutch mill there one time and a row of houses.
    Killabandrick District
    There is a hill adjoining Frank Smyth's land and it is called Wood's hill. About one hundred years ago there was a man living in Killabandrick and he had twelve acres of land.
    On one bon-fire night the Catholics had a bon-fire in Killafanna.
    Killabandrick lake separates the two town-lands. On this particular bon-fire night, old Woods came out with his gun on his own hill and fired four
