He said "Ho, me fine fellow, you're trying to put a decent man astray but I'll show you." Then he chased Jack round the bog with a stick until clear day. When he would draw a blow at him, he would hop from under the stick and appear the next moment about 6 yds.away. So Micky returned home tired out after chasing Jack o' the Lantern the most of the night and could never get a blow at him.
