    on a bush until it withers. When it is dead you are supposed to be cured.
    A cure for chicken pox is if you walk or creep between a donkey's hind legs after three days you will be cured.
    To cure a styian is to point a gooseberry thorn at it every morning for nine mornings and on the tenth morning throw it away.
    To cure a boil is to poultice it with boiled orange lily roots and herbs.
    To cure a sprain is to rub goose seam on it.
    To cure measels is to walk under a briar three times every day for three days and on the fourth walk around it if he is able to do so and also walk around it again and crawl on their hands and knees under it.
