- There are six tailors in the town. They work at their own homes. Only one of them stock cloth. Cloth is not spun or woven locally. There are no sayings or traditions connected with tailors or tailoring. The different implements with which the tailor works are, the sewing machine, thimble, scissors and a measure.
Shirts are made in some of the local homes. Flannelette and cotton are the kind of cloth from which they are made. There are no accounts in the district of shirts been made from flax growing locally.
