  1. My home is in Miltown district, in the townland of Derrybrick, in the Parish of Drumlane, and in the Barony of Lower Loughtee.
There are two families living in the townland and nine people approximately.
Most of the houses are slated in the district and the family name most common is Rielly.
There are several old people around who can tell stories but they cannot speak Irish.
There names and addresses are as follows.
Mrs. Masterson, Drumlane Cottage, Miltown, Belturbet.
Miss. Mary Farrelly, Drumlane, Miltown, Belturbet.
Mr. Benny Farrelly, Drumlane, Miltown, Belturbet.
The houses are more numerous now than in former times. There are not many ruins of houses in the neighbourhood and very few people emigrated. There is no song connected with the townland.
