    Then the potatoes are hoked and put in the heap. The potatoes remain there until March and then they are taken home to the barn in creels. The seed potatoes are picked and the remainder are eaten between dinners, hens and pigs. The potatoes my father sets are Epicures, Aran Banners, British Queens and Kerr's Pinks.
