When swallows fly high fine weather is indicated, also when seargulls fly inland, wet and stormy weather is on the way.When dogs eat grass, rain is indicated, when the cat sits with her back to the fire it is the sign of a coming storm.Wild Geese flying south indicates wet and stormy weather.Cickets singing, dust blowing on the roadway, spiders creeping from their web, smoke puffing from the chimney, plentiness of snails and midges flying in groups, all indicates rain.Smoke going up straight from a chimney indicates fine weather.
