    him warm. Every night the pig became very fond of his frind and was glad of the company.
    When winter came, the man was delighted to have the pig, or he would be frozen to death.
    They lived there for a long time and in the end the man died. When the pig saw that his friend was gone he would not eat for his master, and he too died in a couple of days.
    The calls for various kinds of animals are, weet, weet for ducks, prug, prug for cows, pioc, pioc for horses and kiddy, kiddy for goats.
    When people are putting down eggs for hatching, they get a box with clean hay and they put thirteen eggs into it, which is called a setting.
    Sometimes a mark is put on the hatching eggs, because if another hen happened to lay her egg in the nest, it would not be known from the other eggs.
