morning for three successive days and on the third morning the warts are gone. It said that this well was once a holy font at the entrance to a church which is supposed to have been there long ago.
There is another well also and it said that one time the Connaught men came to cut corn in Meath and as they were going home again one of the men washed is stockings in the well & it moved through thwo or three fields. We do not know whether this is true or not but the people believe it in this district.
