    People gather primroses and scatter them on the threshold May morning. It is unlucky for a woman to go first into a house May Day. The month is kept in honour of Our Lady.
    Shrove Tuesday.
    Shrove Tuesday is the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday. It is also called pancake night. People make many pancakes on this day. They have a great feast with the pancakes. They feast on that night because they will be fasting during Lent.
    Easter Sunday.
    Easter Sunday is a movable Feast. People eat many eggs on that day.
    Hallowe'en night.
