  1. This fort is in the townland of Clooneybrine. It is circular in shape. There is a fence of earth around it. There are two stories connected with this fort. Some years ago a man in this district went to view his stock. As he was passing by the "fort" he heard a noise. Then a red-haired woman appeared to him. She was combing her hair. She asked him could he take the comb. He said that he would not take it. So he went his way. If he took the comb from the woman
