    "Lady's Well"
    There is a holy well in Kilbehenny and many people have been cured of blindness - the cures have been attributed to the healing properties of its waters.
    One winter's morning an old, blind woman was praying at the well. She had her grandson with her, as guide. After some time he said he felt too (clo) cold and ran away leaving her there, alone.
    The old woman prayed to the Blessed Virgin asking to have her sight restored so that she could find her way home. She saw the Blessed Virgin standing in the well and she had her sight ever afterwards.
