  1. Gold and silver are supposed to be hidden in Mounteagle glen, Bansha. It was hidden by a robber. He would not tell the police and he hid it. Jimmy Morrissey of Rossadrehid made several attempts to unearth it but it was of no use.
    The treasure consisted of gold and silver.
    Gold was found one time by "Jack the Pedlar" on the bank of Cloghera glen.
    A bull had been often seen around this place where the hidden treasure is.
    People believed long ago that by eating bread made from pollard they would get a knowledge of where the
