    Riddles.
    A butcher sitting on a stool looking at a leg of mutton. In comes a dog and snatches up the leg of mutton. The butcher jumps up and throws the stool at the dog and gets back the leg of mutton.
    In the wood I got it and when I went to look for it I couldn't find and when I couldn't find it I brought it home with me.
    A thorn in my hand.
    What turns without moving?
    Milk turning sour.
    What has three feet but cannot walk?
    A yard.
    What must I fill a barrel with to make it lighter?
    Holes.
    What is twice in a moment once in a minute and never in a thousand years?
    The letter m.
    Why does a cow look over a fence?
    Because she couldn't look under it.
    Why does a dog cross a road?
    To get to the other side.
