  1. Once upon a time three protestants were coming home from a bog after cutting turf. They met a priest on the road and when he was passing they began spitting at him. After he was gone two of them got sorry for doing it and they went back and asked his pardon but the other man would'nt. He went home and got sick and went to bed. He lived alone in the house. After he went to bed a big goat came into the room and started jumping round the bed. Suddenly the man became paralized and could'nt move all he could do was spit at the goat. This was a punishment on him for spitting at the priest. He died soon afterwards.
