- Another story is told of a certain family who lived a few miles from here. The man was a Protestant and his wife was a Catholic. When good Friday came she wanted to the chapel, but he refused to let her. he asked her to fry eggs and bacon for his breicfast. A first she didn't want to, then she consented, but when she broke out the eggs they turned to blood on the pan.
