Forge water is a cure of many things, amongst them being the cure for chilblains.
There was a forge in Brady's field which belonged to Tommie Kindelan. There was no one working in it but himself and when he died there was no forge.
Kinelan's forge was opposite Begleive school lane. The forge was a great center for playing cards. The cards were played on the anvil. They also held meetings of the Ribbon men there.
Tommie Kindelan was famous for making pikes. The pikes were hid all around the forge.
One day he shod an ass with the back of the shoe to the front.
Every time you went to the forge he charged a penny dearer each time.- Collector
