When pushed open a small dark passage was revealed and a dark entrance which when follow-ed left to another cave where blankets, a pair of shoes and some oblong wooden packing cases, were supposed to be got. A case was opened and proved to be full of small boxes labelled "Salts of Potash". These bottles were opened and each were found to contain ten golden sover-eigns.
