  1. In Knockadereen which is situated in the parish of Killaloe, there is a hill by the name of "Nancy's Hill". Long ago a fairy named Nancy lived there. The hiss is situated in a field facing the road and there is supposed to be a doorway leading into it from the road. People say that it was build by the Danes to overlay their treasures. A short while after one side of the ditch fell and when the people were building it they saw the door.
    Inside this hill there is supposed to be a crock of gold hidden but it is not known
