  1. One night about twelve months ago as we were all sitting comfortably around the fire-side my grandfather told us a story about a hidden treasure.
    There was once a cave in our field in Ballymalone and it is said that there was a gold cup found in it. He also said that there used to be a woman dressed in white seen there after and the old people used to say also that fairies lived in that cave too.
