- On the hill between Ogonnelloe and the Glen there is a deep isle. There the priest used to say Mass in the Penal Times. The isle is since called, "Oil na Sagart."On the top of Lackareigh hill near the gap road there is a high peak with a big rock on the top of it. That was put there in the troubled times for signaling and it is called the "Turret." There is another on the top of Milussa and one on Cragg hill.
