  1. There is three holy wells in this locality. One in Mr. Rourkes field in Derrycon. One in Mr. James Sheedy's field in Corratober and the other in holy Island. It is said that these wells were put there by St. Caimin. The one in Borratobaris called 'Tobar na Nuile'. The one in holy island is called 'Our Lady's Well'. It is said that if you wash your eyes in these well if they are sore your eyes would be cured.
