  1. There was a story-teller in this parish long ago. His name was Pat Murray. He used to go to wakes and sit in the corner and tell stories. One of his stories was. Before he got married he went out to the field and made seventeen pits of stones and covered them with clay. When he married then. His wife went out to the pit one day for potatoes , but could only get stones.
