    Storms.
In the beginning of the year 1903 there was a great storm which caused a lot of damage in many districts. The night of the storm there was a man named Michael Mc Mahon of Rathclooney coming home from his"cuairt" when he met his own car house coming against him with the wind.
There was a man named Naughton working in his work shop in Rylane and he was struck against the door. There was a man named Mick O'Grady whose house was surrounded by trees and the night of the storm two of them fell across the roof and knocked it off and also knocked some of the wall.
