    Manus is the name of my townland.

    amongst six or seven tenants and there are new houses being built there now.
    McInerney's place is called Upper-Manus and Healy's place is called Lower-Manus.
    The remains of old houses are to be seen throughout the district. Some of them were too bad to be repaired and they were knocked and new ones were built. Others were slated and
    repaired and people live in them now.
    There are no very old people living in the district now except Mr Sheehan who is about 76 years. there were two other men living there up to a couple of years ago but they died.
