- There is a fort near my house. It is Mack's fort. It is in the townland of Crogane. It is a round wall of earth. There are bushes growing around it. There is a big hole in the middle of it. My father went down into it when he was a small boy. I do not know was he frightened or not. But he never went down again. There were never any cats or any dogs seen near it. There was no light seen inside it, and no music ever heard in it.
- There is not any fort in my place. But there is one in Michael O Dwyer's land. It is in the townland of Kilbrickan. It is a round fort. There is a small little hole under it. There is not any story about anyone who cut bushes or ploughed in it.
