    "Dreinlus ":- a coarse plant got on the edge of lakes and in marshy places was pulled ;the leaves when crushed were mixed with a little unsalted butter; this was stored in a crock and used to cure sore udders.
    Toothache:(1) Take a mouthful of hot water ,then rinse the mouth with cold water .
    (2) Apply one or two drops of Sloans Linament to tooth.
    (3).Fill hole in tooth with salt or iodine.
    (4)Saturate cotton wool with turpentine and apply to bad tooth.
    (5)heat a black bottle and steep it in whiskey rinse mouth with whiskey.
    (6)Go into a graveyard and get a piece of grass chew it and while chewing ,kneel onto the grave of a relative.
    (7)Fill cavity of tooth with bread soda .
    Cure for "Thrush"
    (1) The seventh son or daughter can cure thrush by breathing three times on patient.
    (2) The food left after a cat is steeped in vinegar and applied to the sore mouth.
    (3) Vinegar applied alone with a quill to baby's mouth
