In the town land of Drumline there is an old road leading to a bog. It goes by the name of Boglane. It is said to be the road used by Cromwell’s soldiers in their march into Connaught.

This is another story of Mathghamhain Garbh the strong man of Clonmoney. He was one time working for the Cannys of Clonmoney House. One of Canny's fields was enclosed by a high wall, with one big strong gate leading into the field. This gate was continually locked.
Mathghamhain had a cow, and every night he put the cow into the field(continues on next page)
