  2. My District.
    I live in the townland of Drumline. It is in the parish of Tradaree .It is eleven miles from Limerick and about the same from Ennis.
    Drumline means ,the back of the line .It is a very pleasant place to live in ,and I would rather it more than any other place in the country.
    There are seventeen houses in it.ten of then are thatched and seven of them are slated .The soil is very rich and fertile .
    There are no old story tellers and no old people in the town-land .there are no lakes
