  1. Ash Wednesday comes once a year. It is the beginning of Lent.
    It is a day of fast and abstinence. There are six weeks in Lent and then Easter Sunday. Easter Sunday is a great day for feasting because it was on that day Our Lord rose from the dead.
    The children have fires out in the fields. They make tea and boil eggs and have lot of other nice things. If you get up very early on Easter Sunday
