  1. In the land of John Tansey in the parish of Elphin and in the townland of BallySundriven is a well called the "Priests Well". This well belonged to a Presbyterian farmer named James Poynton.
    In the townland of Ryefield there lived a priest named Father Tom Walker who used to draw water from Poyntons well. On one occasion he blessed this well.
