  1. People never change from one house to another on a Friday because it is said that it is a very unlucky day. Wednesday is a lucky day for marriage and Saturday is an unlucky day for them.
The first Friday after a calf is born if a cut is put in his ear it is a prevention against the Black Leg, and also if he is given three drops of holy water is another prevention. If a person goes out early on May morning and rubs his arms in the dew it is said he will never get sunburn. Whit Monday is an unlucky day also because many drownings occur on it.
Good Friday is a lucky day for planting potatoes.
