  2. Patrick Stack (60) of Gurtcreen, Lestowel told me how the people used to get married long ago. The priest used to go to the house to marry the two persons. He used to stop there all day and eat his dinner. He used go to his Chapel again on a saddle horse. They were no main roads that time only a few. They were only old by-roads. The boy and the girl used to go to the Chapel on a saddle horse. The girl used to sit behind the boy on the horse. Then they used to have a wedding and soppers used to be there and they used to be dressed
