    to pay Cotter L 10-0-0 and to keep him for one week in the best of food. They went to the house and Cotter got woodfine stick and made a circle out of it and put "Robbineen-nin-the headge" (a plant) around it. He got two sticks and them through the ground and tied the circle on to them. He went in and out three times and the fourth time he stood up and every rat in the house came out and ran through the circle. Cotter had to carry all the rats some other where and Cotter got paid and went home to Killaha.
