As I was going to Derbyshire
    T'was on a market day
I saw the finest ould ram sir
That was ever fed upon hay
The wool that grew on this ram sir
    It grew so very high
That the eagles came and built their nests
You'd hear the young ones cry
This ram he had a tooth sir
It would hold ten bags of corn
You'd easly drive a couch and four
    Around his ould boy horn
The ram he had a tail sir
T' would reach up to the moon
