    Our local Saint is Saint Sourney who lived in Drumacoo long ago. She was a very holy Saint. There is a holy well in Drumacoo now and the name of the well is Saint Sourneys Well.
    Many people go to the well to get cured of many diseases.
    There was once a woman who lived in Aran and she was blind. She knew about Saint Sourneys well and she went to the well and stayed there for a whole night praying. In the morning when the people got up from bed the
