    It is lucky for the bride to get the loan of something from a friend to wear.
    When a wedding party is leaving the church, they do not like to pass a graveyard if they possibly can.
    In olden times it was most unlucky for a bride to return to her old home before four weeks.
    It was a firm belief that if the bride leaves the church first she would die first.
    The brides mother would never go to see the bride until one month is gone.
