- In the Parish of Killtulla there is an old Castle, once Darcys castle, at least a man named Darcy was the last to live there, and in the old yard, at the back of the ruin, is a holy well. On the side of this well is to be seen a stone which bears a latin insription, that can now scarcely be read. But this well is noted down amongst the Holy wells of Ireland in History.
