fields when the people got out of bed on that morning. Months before the storm came the weather was very bad, and the farmers had not the hay or oats gathered. There was thunder and lightening and heavy showers. And the roads and fields were flooded. Many sheep and cattle were drowned, and the people could not go anywhere until the floods dried up again.
