- We have a churn home. It is a dash churn. It is two feet six inches high. It is one foot six inches wide in the bottom and it is one foot three inches wide in the top. The Irish name for the churn dash is Loinithe. We make a churning twice every week in summer and once a week in winter. My mother makes the churning. If a stranger comes in(continues on next page)
