    Long ago starch was made from potatoes but it is not made nowadays. Sometimes my mother makes cakes called, "Potato Cake" The potatoes are mashed mixed with flour, rolled out thin and baked in a pan.
    The different kinds of potatoes we grow are - : "Arran Banners" "Aran Victord", "Aran Cheifs". Flounders," "Dates", Paddy Regans" "Kerr Pinks" and "Golden Wonders".
