    up into a long line one after the other, and every child holding on to the coat tails of the child in front of him. In this order they pass under the arch made by the raised arms of the pair. As they pass through they chant the following verse
    "Lord Luke, Lord John,
    Every man pass by
    But the very last one."
    All are allowed to pass through the arch except the last. He is held and must stand behind one of those who make the arch. This is repeated until all the children have been caught. The there are two lines of children: one behind each of those who made the arch at
