    About seventy years ago there lived a boy and a girl in [?] Kilgarvan who were in love. The match was made and the day was appointed for the wedding to take place. At the time the fairies used to carry girls away into their lioses. and leave some fairy girl in their stead. This girl was very beautiful so the fairies determined to have her.
