- Long ago there lived a man in Kerry.
He had three sons and they used to be out late at night. One night when they were late they saw a man on the side of the road.
They came near him and they noticed him very ugly. They were not able to pass him. After a while they said to each other they would beat him but one of them said it is better for ye not to do anything but they would not be satisfied.(continues on next page)
