  1. Long ago there lived a man in Kerry.
    He had three sons and they used to be out late at night. One night when they were late they saw a man on the side of the road.
    They came near him and they noticed him very ugly. They were not able to pass him. After a while they said to each other they would beat him but one of them said it is better for ye not to do anything but they would not be satisfied.
