    so says Jack "I can't sing." If you don't sing we'll throw you out" says one lad but Jack couldn't sing anyway so in the latter end they got him and threw him into the fire and burnt him but Jack wasn't burnt at all - he was alright sitting in the corner so they locked the door and they left him inside for that night so the next night they came back and was singing and dancing again and they asked "who'ld sing a song" "who will only Jack Doyle" "Jack can't sing" so they threw Jack out over the half door. [?] and so Jack didn't know where he was and he was in the middle of a big wood so the next day Jack got up in the top of a tree to know where was he so 3 or 4 fellows came under the tree and they made a
