When she was home in her own house for a couple of hours a poor travelling woman came up the lane to the door and asked for a night's lodging in the name of God. The poor woman didnt refuse her at all for she never refused anybody anything that they asked for in the name of God. The woman of the roads was very glad of the shelter and she prayed all night for the charitable woman who gave it to her. It spilled rain all night and the two women couldn't sleep with it. The woman of the house could hear the travelling praying all the time, and all the prayers she said were for the woman who had given her the shelter.
