This woman lifted her up and asked her could she do anything for her and the gipsy woman appeared to be in the last throws of death, but she noticed that somewan was doing something with her and she turned her two eyes for a second to the face of the travelling woman, and when she saw who it was she let an unmerciful scream out of herself and fell off dead in the woman's arms. The poor woman was then in an awful state thinking that somewan would come along and say that it was she killed the gipsy. She left the gipsy on the side of the road and went and told some workmen who were working in a field along by what had happened. The workmen when they heard it were delighted and they told the travelling woman not to be in the least bit annoyed for they would make it all right, and they also said that there would be thousands of people delighted that she was gone.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
